Jeff Allred is a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where he serves as Chair of the Corporate Practice Group and focuses on corporate strategy and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and finance. He has represented public and private companies, investors, and advisors across various industries in numerous public and private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and spinoffs, joint ventures, tender offers, and proxy contests. Allred is a frequent speaker at legal and industry conferences and has held leadership positions in various legal organizations.

Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Allred served as President and Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Premiere Global Services, Inc. (NYSE: PGi), a global provider of on-demand communications technologies, serving over 80 percent of the Fortune 500 and operating in 16 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. During his decade of service at PGi, Allred oversaw the company’s three global operating divisions, as well as its financial, legal and corporate development functions. Among other responsibilities, Allred lead the execution of over 20 strategic business acquisitions aimed at product diversification, geographic expansion and customer growth. He also directed PGi’s strategic investment unit that generated appreciable financial returns and product and distribution enhancement through early stage investments in leading technology companies, including WebMD and Webex.

Allred received a B.A. degree, with highest honors, a J.D. degree, with honors, and an M.B.A. degree, all from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In law school, Allred was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
